The Internet classroom is open every day from 9:30 till 17:30 except Saturday
and Sunday. Several hundred people visit it every month. The users may search
information in the Internet, in electronic libraries and databases. They also
use facilities of the E-mail. Retrieved information could be copied to a
diskette or printed.
Consultant of the Internet classroom provides support in searching in electronic libraries and databases, informs about access rights and password.
Since August 1999 the classroom becomes a "site" of
the IATP of
project Harmony.
The courses for librarians provide study in the field of networking
technologies and the Internet for improving library services. The issues of
the electronic paper "Internet for all"
(in Russian) is available for endusers.
